Well, my dear friend, you did not fail; sorry! You have demonstrated diligence and determination that has gone for over three years, even when you were feeling bad. Why are you walking? For your health! What a wonderful sequence of days filled with enough health to keep walking! So, on this particular day, something else took precedence regarding your healthcare, and it needed to be addressed. So yes, we start over, i.e. pick up where we left off, but don’t beat yourself up. You didn’t quit and you didn’t miss because of negligence or laziness. You needed some recuperation time. YHWH (Yahweh) even rests one the Sabbath! So, hold your chin up and get back at it and go find Joy with my friend!

Thanks, Stan. I was certainly bummed and it took me a few days to get over it. I made lemonade though. It gave me something to write about and I got to talk to Jon Acuff about it too. So, yes, you are right. Something else took precedence that day and it also caused me to re-evaluate. Yes, it’s a health goal. Even though I can’t walk or ride as far as I used to, it’s important to me to move everyday.

What a great message! Every day is a new chance to begin again, not a failure! Thanks for this!

Thanks, Ann. Yes. I like that. Every day is a new day. A new chance to start again.

Remember–laughter is good medicine! Sounds like laughing thru a comedian’s show would make up for your lack of steps that day!!
