    I recall Christmas Eve family gatherings with all the cousins. It was one of the few times we saw the Walkers each year.

      Doug, I remember going to Detroit, but I also remember Santa coming to our house in Fort Wayne. You, Sherrie, and Lynn would remember the details better than me. I wonder if we came to Detroit when we lived in Battle Creek or if we were on an every other year plan. It’d be fun to get the cousins together to reminisce. Thanks for your input.

    Yes, we also have our tradtions and I grew up with wonderful memories of our family traditions .
    Happy belated Christmas to you Joy. We pull out of Indiana today ….heading south to the Keys where, we are hoping, the temperature is a number bigger than our age

      Just reading your comment. As I wrote this blog I was thinking about how traditions change as children get married and have their own children and grand children. I’d love to hear some of your family traditions. Yes. Hoping to spend some time with you soon. Safe travels.
