Wish I could share all the pictures. She was just precious. Maybe one day you will get to meet her.

I love this! Yay that Maxley got to go “for real” camping. Yay that you wrote those precious moments down, so she can revisit that day in detail. Yay that you are sharing such fun with the rest of us!

Awe, thank you Vickie. I didn’t even think about her reading it when she is older. I appreciate the “rest of you” reading.

What a wonderful fun great aunt you are, Joy!! And she must be a very precious child to be so concerned about you!
Growing up, most of our family vacations were tent camping so I have lovely memories of camping in the woods with dear ones.
Thank you for sharing your joy and yourself with us, Joy!! ❤️

Thanks, Dr. Danforth. She is definitely a special little girl. Yes. I think everyone in our generation went tent camping. I know that had to be a lot of work for our parents, but those tent camping days are the foundation for me wanting to buy a motorhome so many years later.

I like all of her comments about your little house and how she checked on you to make sure you were ok when you were hiking. Precious memories for sure!

What a great story! You pass along the love of camping to another generation, Mother would be happy

Thanks, Tom. I didn’t think about that. And I know you have done the same.
